This policy explains how RangeTeller Ltd (“RangeTeller,” “we,” or “us”) handles personal data when you visit www.rangeteller.com or contact us.

1. Who we are

RangeTeller Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15301622. Our registered office is 20-22 Bridge End, Leeds, LS1 4DJ, United Kingdom.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers our website and our business contacts. It does not cover data that lenders analyze with the RangeTeller platform. Where we handle that data, we do so only on the lender’s instructions, under our agreement with that lender.

3. Data we collect

• Website visits. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of your visit. We use these logs to run and secure the site.
• Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address. Google’s privacy policy explains how it handles this data.
• Emails. When you email us, we receive your name, your email address, and anything you include, such as your organization and job title.

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

4. How we use your data

• To reply to your inquiry, arrange a demo, and discuss our services. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running our business, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
• To run and secure the website. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest.
• To keep business records and meet our legal obligations. Our legal basis is legal obligation.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you. You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with:

• service providers that host our website, email, and cloud systems, under contracts that require them to protect it;
• professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when needed;
• authorities, when the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers and team members are outside the UK. When personal data leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep emails and business records only as long as we need them, and generally no longer than six years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are kept for our host’s standard retention period.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• have it deleted;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing;
• receive a copy in a portable format.
